Ophira Eisenberg is a NY comic and has a new puzzle show on NPR called Ask Me Another. We were both told we have the same voice. I say it’s Canada and Wisconsin trying to leave our bodies. We dork out about how loud the restaurant we’re meeting in and Raiders of the Lost Ark. I have a giant comedy crush on Ophira now. Go see her live. Listen to her show. Enjoy.

    Geoducks (“gooey-ducks”…don’t ask me why it was transliterated so) are not only clams native to the NW US-area Pacific, but have big phallic cephalopods (the word I think Eisenberg was reaching for…pseudopods are what amoebas and Blobs have). So, of course, athletic teams from the Pacific NW enjoy being the Geoducks (too often off the field as well as on…editorial comment). Also, this might’ve triggered an even greater response from Eisenberg to the mention of Big Wang’s almost immediately afterward.
