My guest is Marc Maron. We are live at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood. We are live at Meltdown Comics at the Nerdmelt stage. We explore what MIGHT be Marc’s dorkdom. It turns out it might be comedy. This was really fun. Enjoy.

And WORLD WAR 3 ILLUSTRATED was one of the comics magazines, along with WIMMEN'S COMIX/TWISTED SISTERS and LOVE AND ROCKETS, that drew me back to reading comic books again, after more or less sticking with the strips (Lynda Barry, Charles Burns, Alison Bechdel) for a number of years (hell, David Lynch had a single-panel strip for a while...). Great stuff.

I had read the WFMU blog before, but managed to miss Nesteroff's contributions before...thanks, folks. Looks like a good supplement to SERIOUSLY FUNNY and the memoirs of folks such as Lenny Bruce and Dick Gregory I've read.

Those of us with essentially solo blogs (about only Some of the stuff discussed on TDF) need to be reminded that the bar is pretty high...
