P.F. Wilson is a writer and podcaster. He loves defunct football leagues and the history of the NFL. Are you sad because football season is over? Re-visit American Football with P.F. going into the minutia of the history of football leagues. I say “yeah?” “yeah” a lot. He’s great. Enjoy!

NFL Films is (or was) an organization independent of NFL and of the tv networks, and even not caring about football, I was usually willing to watch one of their excellent documentaries on an afternoon in the '70s or '80s...http://www.nflfilms.com/

---Canadian Football is shown in this country on broadcast by the small America 1 network of stations, and on cable on the NFL network (surprise)! (Even as MHz Worldview remains one's small broadcast network for Australian Football in season...)

---Very glad to see Walt Kelly mentioned inadvertently, as he's much cooler than Jack Kelly (as someone who lived in Philly for 12 years, I know whereof I speak). Hell, I went to a high school in Honolulu overrun by evidence of Hemmeters.
