Glee Fan Fiction! Just listening to TDF made Janine Schatz KNOW that she could be a guest. She is correct. And fascinating. We have dinner in Brooklyn (Japanese). So, you get to hear more restaurant noise! To read her fan fic; follow the twitter feed @ja9zimm

That was the film adaptation of THE PAPER CHASE...I caught up with it at just the right time, about the same time as the tv series was starting up...

Lindsay Wagner, being too good for THE BIONIC WOMAN, will always be Prof. Kingsfield's daughter for me...at least, first...

    Hello, Tiberius!

Joanna Russ, one of my literary heroes, was perhaps the first to examine slash in an academic context, and she wrote up the matter in essays reprinted in such collections of her essays as MAGIC MOMMAS, TREMBLING SISTERS, PURITANS AND PERVERTS and TO WRITE LIKE A WOMAN (the latter also having an essay about supermarket gothics, that offshoot of the romance publishing industry that particularly flourished from the mid '60s through the mid '70s, alongside ROSEMARY'S BABY the novel and film, DARK SHADOWS the soap, and similar notable items--the essay entitled "Someone's Trying to Kill Me and I Think It's My Husband: The Modern Gothic" that is also eminently worth reading) http://tinyurl.com/844rrcx ---Russ has also written brilliant sf, such as THE FEMALE MAN, and contemporary romance of high quality, ON STRIKE AGAINST GOD. Which is a very roundabout way of suggesting that someday you should supplement your reading of Walter Miller's magnum opus with reading that of Edgar Pangborn, the somewhat more cheerful (!) post-apocalyptic novel DAVY...along with THE FEMALE MAN. And...and...and...Davy's even a music dork, as much as one can be under the circumstances...

And here are the folk who are writing something very akin to fanfic professionally, the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers: http://www.iamtw.org/
