Hi Jackie, is this show still online? I get a "file not found" error.

Charming, as usual. No apologies needed!

Christa Faust is the woman who has written the novel MONEY SHOT, with a protagonist who is drawn back into the porn industry she's left by some skullduggery she feels compelled to investigate...it is indeed an excellent novel, as Faust is an excellent crime-fiction writer who knows the milieau in which she sets this novel, and its sequel CHOKE HOLD. Jackie, I suspect you might or might not want to look into her earlier novel, erotic horror, CONTROL FREAK. Joe Starr will probably need to read her wrasslin' novel, HOODTOWN.

(The living, famous) Joe Hill is one of Tabitha and Stephen King's two writing sons, the other being Owen King...and TK writes, too. Lotsa keyboards clacking around the King household(s). (The dead, famous) Joe Hill was a Wobbly (Idustrial Workers of the World, the radical union that has a vestigial presence to this day...they tried to unionize Borders Book Shops a decade and a half ago) and folksinger, who was convicted of and executed for killing an oppressive industrialist, though there's a good chance he was innocent.

There are some who consider filking, the making up of usually fannish new lyrics to existing songs, even more dire than felching, which Altsheler hero Dick Mason invented during the Civil War. Or not, that last. Nothing new under the moon, if you get my drift.
