My guest today is Karen Kilgariff.Stand Up Comic, Musician and Writer… check out the links… It turns out she is great imaginary friends with Sandy Bullock. She’s hilarious and fascinating. I try to out talk her. She held her own, so it’s a good one.

Notes:

Drop Dead Diva – I love the “hot” friend who has to act dumb but is smart.

Heidi Montag – Uh… The Hills. Okay.

Headshots – what I MEANT was hard copies of headshots. I have digital, of course.

Marc Lawrence

Danielle Koenig

I still can’t remember the NBA player I’m thinking of who gambles.

Mayonnaise

Alewife

South Milwaukee in Time Magazine – no picture!

Blaine Capatch

Song by Karen Kilgariff on youtube. There is swearing

Ah. I thought it might've been your memories of Dennis Rodman...but gambling might've been the least of his problems, when his problems were still very public. Great show. Will pace my comments as I have Zero energy. Good to have company suddenly here in comments land. (Captcha: food. suregua)

Michael Jordan. But I'm guessing he's not the only NBA player who gambles.

I made mayonnaise once, even though I can't stand the taste of it. This was during my phase of wanting to be earth-friendly and self-sufficent -- as much as one can be living in an apartment! I made ketchup, too, but the mayo was much more fun. Unlike the recipe you linked to, the recipe I used required one to drizzle the oil slowly into the blender which was already whipping the eggs. That method is less wearing on one's arms and it is fun to watch the eggs and oil emulsify. You should try it.

heh, Todd! Andy told me that we got the books today...another package too... W aan action figure, was that you too? No note!

I'm about to go on hiatus, so pace yourself. I leave this week for a middle east tour. I'm gonna try to get the two I taped while here in the bay area loaded before I go...we'll see :)

Gosh! I've got to get on the mailing list...I didn't think to check today for a new episode, but enjoyed Kilgariff enormously on COMEDY & EVERYTHING ELSE yesterday. This will soon be heard, as well.

So, Jackie, when are you getting your sleeping in these days?
