Back from the hiatus! My guests are both stand up comics Matt Knudsen and Josh Haness. I swear, we mostly chat while we eat a 2lb shrimp ring Matt brought. It was seriously distracting. I enjoyed it. The conversation and the shrimp ring. I hope you do.

Notes:

Shrimp Ring – you know what this is! Ring o’ shrimp from the grocery store.

Lou Ferrigno’s Daughter

Dihatsu – Korean Car

Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster

Merchant Marine

Matt Knudsen – his IMDB page.

Beck and Morrissey mix up… I know NOW!

Andie MacDowell

Ron. Ron Glass – Barney Miller and… Firefly (dream guest btw)
Tyler Perry – yes. Star Trek

Ross Thomas – Missionary Stew (not Merc Stew. Sigh)

Orson Scott Card

Josh’s Show (facebook link)

MSK3K’s Josh Elvis Weinstein

Richard Klein – I can’t figure out who he was talking about.

ENTIRELY distracted by giant shrimp ring.

My website has a player, standup schedule and videos, merch page (CD/T-shirt opportunities) and the donation button: www.jackiekashian.com or www.dorkforest.com.The iPhone App, Android Apps are available. Stitcher is no longer available. If you hate the $2 spent on the app, I’ll give you $2 off a CD or T-shirt at a show. Or e me. Jackie@jackiekashian.com

Pehl 2 years younger than Beaulieu. Well, then it works just fine.

Ha. Belatedly noting I'd managed to miss this one, so staying after work to hear the end. (Someone in about 9th Grade, I'm not sure if he was trying to compliment me or not, compared me to Dietrich, Landesberg's character, when we all were young and BARNEY MILLER was still on.) Daihatsu. (Gesundheit.) (Now, there's hack.)

MJ Pehl's regular MST3K character was, enjoyably improbably, Trace Beaulieu's mother. Five years younger than TB?

When I worked a DC-area big box bookstore, a princess from the Royal Family of Thailand liked to come browse and buy, and was of course surrounded by Thai and US Secret Service agents...the way you could tell the difference aside from the accents was that the Thai agents were unfailingly polite.

I'm gonna guess the reference was to Richard Kline, who had a minor recurring role in what remains my default choice for worst sitcom so far, THREE'S COMPANY.

Hey, Paulina Porizkova and Ric Ocasek...Padma Lakshmi and Salman Rushdie...my first womanfriend and me, in less documented matters (though I have at least one [female] witness whose first response was, "She's into you?")...it can happen...of course, perhaps some examples of couples where the pretty man links up with the unimpressive physical specimen woman and there isn't really any lack of money on either side might be in order...
