My guest is Aisha Tyler, a traditional dork that has grown into a person that looks like she’s always been cool. Actress, Comic and, soon, host of her own dorky podcast. I just wish we were talking faster.

the guy with the issue (axhed) about eating on the show needs to get a grip. what-fuckin-ever. The rest of us dont give a shit about that.Dont worry about it, its fine- he's a twit.

    now....back to the podcast....

omg. i lauged my ass off at this one- omg talk about putting a nickel in and the two of you were off!!! i loved it. I havent laughed that hard in quite a while.

(well.....a close second being when in pre recorded TDF- Sarah Palin's debating skill was likened to a train derailing and crashing into a 747...)

I don't think I've laughed more or louder while listening to a podcast than while listening to you and Aisha - holy shit, but I had turn it off a couple times because I was at work and it's full of tight-asses. Anyways, love you, love your show, and I can't wait for July 26th and the debut of her show - funny ladies.

hi. i don't care if you eat during the podcast, but it was an injustice not to ask Aisha more about Archer. That's a great TV show. Check it out Jackie!

No NO... I'm not saying NCIS is worth watching. Sarah, run!! Leverage is GREAT. I wish NCIS was half that good - and I wish that Leverage was on at 3pm in smaller markets with a marathon.

I will also take your eating thing under advisement as well :) Though I'm thinking this dude listened to the freaking shrimp ring show then this show with the candy and THEN lost his mind. ah well.

Well-put! And I'll append a mostly good word for ROYAL PAINS as mentioned, or HOUSE-lyte as I tend to think of it. Not superb, but doing good work within the limitations USA sets.

    Wait...isn't that what everyone likes?

I enjoy the occasional eating sound-it furthers my illusion that we are all friends hanging out talking about things. Also a happy host/guest = good show.

I also enjoy it when people treat others as they would like to be treated-less so when they scream and curse-laughing and smiling is in the intro song buddy-also, hard working host giving you content for free...

I personally found pretty funny to hear one woman tell another woman that the stuff they and many of their (woman) friends all like is "guy stuff"-oh and if girls like it, that is proof of its less worthiness. Oh and boys will only pretend to like girl stuff to hang out with girls, not because it is good. But if what the girls like is boy stuff, do the boys still actually like it or oh wait I am so confused. Look girls, just get naked because apparently that is what everyone likes. Lol.

My main point is I guess I am finally going to have to try and watch an NCIS episode. May I suggest a show for your road repertoire? I really love a good heist and find that the show Leverage really is good at providing you with a cool heist and a nice dose of Robin Hood thrown in there. And who doesn't want an hour of sticking it to the man?

    Great show! As always!

Holy ... Well... I think you've made your point. I'll take it under advisement.

hmm...wonder what's ruder, eating during a conversation, or doing the typographical equivalent of screaming like a maniac.

    I think I've decided.

STOP FUCKING EATING DURING YOUR PODCAST. WOULD YOU TAKE A PLATE OF FOOD ON STAGE WITH YOU? IT'S FUCKING DISGUSTING. UNSUBBED.

Ah, yes...one thing I forgot to mention yesterday is the slim chance that the Nancy Drew RPG might allow you both to retire comfortably...particularly if it's also available for Wii (which is for girls, after all).

Not just quickly, but overlapping...it got a little Robert Altmanesque from time to time, but often cheerfully punctuated by simultaneous mutual Ohs (I hesitate to call them moans) of delight.

And please do have Ladman on, even if it must be THE COOL GLADE for an episode. Offhand references to Lorne Michaels and Michael Stipe and anyone named Dieter purling in the background (Patty Smith?). Ask Maria Bamford to affect the lonelyhearts radio-host/dj voice for the intro, "We're Coasting through the Cool Glade...yarn and yarns with Cathy Ladman tonight..."

Hm. One might almost think I'd put thought into this. More comments about other matters as time permits! Good show, and looking forward to the TylerCast!

(The Captcha for comment posting is now thoughtfully offering kana/Chinese character things to type. No chauvinists they.)
